More about this tool

When lists come from different sources, capitalization is all over the place: JOHN SMITH in one row, john smith in the next, John Smith in a third. In letters, labels and offers this looks careless.

Excel's PROPER() function helps only halfway โ€” it turns McDonald into Mcdonald, LLC into Llc and NY into Ny. This tool knows these cases. It keeps company forms, common acronyms and state codes in capitals, handles Mc and O' names and writes small words like "of" and "and" in lowercase.

Choose the style, pick the columns (or leave all selected) and save the cleaned copy. Your original file stays unchanged and nothing leaves your computer.
